50StatesClassifieds is a North American based company, servicing the USA. All goods and services must be both originating from, and directed towards, that market, and all verbiage must be in US English. Based on this focus, we will not accept, and actively deny, services and goods that originate from outside the servicing area. We thank you for your consideration of this when posting your ad.

These terms are subject to change at any time, without warning.

Anyone is welcome to post a few free ads, no strings attached, as long as they adhere to our Terms of Use. Site Sponsors may post unlimited ads in any and all states and categories. Free users may not post multiple ads with identical titles, descriptions, or pictures. We reserve the right to refuse any ad or user account that we feel does not comply with our Terms of Use.

If you belong to an MLM or affiliate program, please follow this important guideline:
A huge number of affiliates visit our site each day and post multiple identical ads in multiple states for the same exact business. You are most likely not the only affiliate from your company posting here. We do not want all 3000+ categories filled with endless pages of identical copy-paste affiliate ads for the same few companies. We consider it spam.

If you sell Avon in Louisiana, ONLY post in Louisiana. If you are an affiliate who sells candles in Oregon, ONLY post in Oregon. Do not attempt to post 50 identical ads if you are not a site sponsor. You may feel free to upgrade your ad to a Local & Search Featured listing, or a Nationwide Front Page Featured listing, instead.

Please, follow the rules, or your entire MLM or affiliate program will be permanently banned as a time saving measure.

By submitting an ad to 50StatesClassifieds, or any of its' affiliated websites, you agree that we have the right to syndicate the content you submit, as described above.

As a condition of use, you promise not to use the Services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms of Use, or any other purpose not reasonably intended by 50 States Classifieds. By way of example, and not as a limitation, you agree not to use our Services:

1. to abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate, intimidate, or send unsolicited commercial messages of any sort to other users;
2. to contribute any Content that is infringing, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, offensive or otherwise violates any law or right of any third party;
3. for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. If you are an international user, you agree to comply with all US laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content;
4. to post or transmit, or cause to be posted or transmitted, any communication or solicitation designed or intended to obtain password, account, or private information from any user;
5. to create or submit unwanted ads on our website, or to create or submit unwanted email ("spam") to any other users or to our contact forms;
6. to violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws);
7. to submit ads or comments linking to ponzi schemes, advance fee or other scams, items on the banned list, or questionable content;
8. With the exception of search engines, you will not use any robot, spider, scraper or other automated means to access the Site for any purpose without our express written permission. Additionally, you agree that you will not: (i) take any action that imposes, or may impose in our sole discretion an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure; (ii) interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Site or any activities conducted on the Site; or (iii) bypass any measures we may use to prevent or restrict access to the Site;

Common reasons that we deny ads and/or terminate user accounts include, but are not limited to:

• Entering false contact information during the User Registration process. We do not share this information with any third party, nor do we use it for anything on our end, but we ban any user who has filled in gibberish, swear words, or other rude / fake / offensive information.
• Duplicate accounts, or similar registration information to that which has been previously entered by other users is prohibited. If you contact us ahead of time and ask permission, we can certainly consider giving you duplicate accounts if there is a good reason. But if we find 15 identical free accounts posting identical free ads without asking permission first, we will delete them and ban the company from posting in the future. So please, contact us first if you anticipate needing more than one account, and let us know that you're not just another automated spam-bot, and we'll be happy to accommodate your needs as long as your ads conform to this terms of service.
• Duplicate ads. As a Free user, you are limited to a few ads of similar (but not identical) content. Site Sponsors do not have this restriction.
• Posting a website URL or link in the title of an ad.
• Multiple external links per ad and linkspamming. One website reference per ad, please. There are clearly labelled areas where you may post your links in each ad.
• Hidden text of any kind (clear text, html hiding, color masking, keyword stuffing to the point of it just being a big spammy list of unappealing and intentionally misspelled gibberish, and all other SEO no-no's. A little SEO is fine - we don't mind - but there is a big difference between a respectable amount of SEO, and a disrespectful amount of spam.)
• CAPS LOCK / SHOUTING - If you notice that you are typing in capital letters only, on the left side of your keyboard, press the Caps Lock key to turn your caps off.
• Any business opportunities originating from outside North America.
• Misleading ads - Be up front and honest in your descriptions of your products or services. Do not force people to give you their email address, phone number, credit card number, or other personal information, in order to simply find out what your "fabulous business opportunity of a lifetime" is. If there is no way to tell what specific product or service you're selling, we will delete it.
• Cash Gifting, Pyramid Schemes, Ponzi Schemes, Online Surveys, Secret Shoppers, win a free laptop/ipod/ipad/iphone/etc
• Illegal products as determined by current local and federal laws. You are required to comply with the law in your city and state. It is not our responsibility to know every single law in every single city, state, and county. You are solely responsible for checking the lawfulness of your listing..
• Profanity, sexual or pornographic content, graphic photographs or descriptions of violent acts, or any other content which may disturb sensitive viewers and children is absolutely prohibited.
• Materials or content which promote hate, discrimination, or intolerance of any kind - Please, be respectful of all people regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, viewpoints, etc.
• Any material which violates copyright laws, or information which violates the rights or privacy of any 3rd party.
• Personal identity information of any party other than your business or your self. (home addresses and phone numbers which do not belong to you must never be shared, but we also caution you against sharing your own personal information on the Internet. It's a big world and there are a lot of strange people out there. Be careful!)
• We may modify this document to include new terms at any time. It is your responsibility to check this space and stay up to date with the rules.

Each free basic classified ad includes: easy ad editor to help you make an attractive ad, 1 free picture, links may be posted in clearly designated areas of your ad, a free counter to track your visitors, and a public profile page which you can use to describe your seller policies, your business, etc.

If you see spam on our site which has somehow snuck by (perhaps our hand slipped, or the ad was particularly convincing, or we've just never ran into that type of scam before), please let us know! Duplicate free ads will be deleted. Please do not spam us by posting identical free ads in every state. Upgrade to a Featured Listing instead. We do allow a few free ads per user, as long as they are unique. In addition, free users may create a free user profile to tell people more about their business, products, or services, and add free PayPal "Buy it Now" buttons to each ad. If you wish for your profile to be featured nationwide, consider upgrading to a Site Sponsorship.

We may edit or remove content or accounts at any time for any reason (including, but not limited to, upon receipt of claims or allegations from third parties or authorities relating to such Content), or for no reason at all, without warning.

50StatesClassifieds.com may provide, or third parties may provide, links to other World Wide Web sites or resources. Because 50StatesClassifieds.com has no control over such sites and resources, you acknowledge and agree that 50StatesClassifieds.com is not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any Content, advertising, products or other materials on or available from such sites or resources. You further acknowledge and agree that 50StatesClassifieds.com shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such Content, goods or services available on or through any such site or resource.

50StatesClassifieds.com may terminate or suspend any and all Services and your 50StatesClassifieds.com account immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach any of the terms or conditions of the Terms of Use. Upon termination of your account, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your 50StatesClassifieds.com account, you may simply discontinue using the Services, or you may contact us to remove your account completely. All provisions of the Terms of Use which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
