By registering for a user account, and posting ads, you are indicating your agreement with the following terms and conditions. Failure to adhere to these rules will result in termination of your account.

Classified ad posting services are provided "as is" with no warranty implied or expressed.

50StatesClassifieds is a North American based company, servicing the US and Canada. All goods and services should and must be both originating from, and directed towards, that market. All verbiage must be in US English, utilizing proper grammar and context. Based on this focus, we will not accept, and actively deny, services and goods that originate from outside the servicing area. We thank you for your consideration of this when posting your ad.

These terms are subject to change at any time, without warning.

We hand screen each and every ad for quality control. If you see spam on our site which has somehow snuck by (perhaps we were tired, or our hand slipped), please let us know! Send the URL of the ad you feel is spam to us in an email: webmaster@50statesclassifieds.com

Featured Sellers may post unlimited ads. If you are a free user, you may post up to 20 unique ads only. Any user posting multiple ads with identical titles and descriptions, or any user posting more than 1 link to their website in their ads, will be banned. Please do not abuse our generosity by spamming us. If you are unsure if this applies to you, ask! We want you to enjoy our website, and welcome users who will use our website responsibly. We really do want you to use the website. We just don't like people who come in and blast us with 500 identical ads and upload 500 free pictures, but don't contribute to the site in any real way. Hosting and bandwidth is expensive! And using our website is a priviledge, not a right!

Common reasons that we deny or terminate accounts include, but are not limited to:

• Entering false contact information during the User Registration process. We do not share this information with any third party, or use it for anything on our end, but we do look through all new users and ban anyone who has filled in gibberish, swear words, or other rude / fake / offensive information.
• Duplicate accounts, or similar registration information to that which has been previously entered by other users.
• Duplicate ads. As a Free user, you are limited to twenty ads of similar (but not identical) content. Featured Members do not have this restriction.
• Multiple external links per ad and linkspamming. One website reference per ad, please.
• Hidden text of any kind (clear text, html hiding, color masking.)
• CAPS - Please turn your Caps Lock off before posting any ads.
• Any business opportunities originating from outside North America.
• Misleading health insurance ads - do not claim to offer health insurance if in fact, you only offer a "discount plan".
• Non-FDA Approved Health Care products, diet regiments, pills, tonics, etc.
• MLM, Cash Gifting, Pyramid or Ponzi Schemes.
• Illegal products as determined by current local and federal laws. You are required to comply with the law. It is not our responsibility to know every single law in every single city, state, county, etc and you are solely responsible for checking the lawfulness of your listing. However, if we see something that we know for certain to be illegal, we will delete it without warning.
• Profanity, sexual or pornographic content, graphic photographs or descriptions of violent acts, or any other content which may disturb sensitive viewers and children is absolutely prohibited. If we remove an adult picture from your listing, do not re-post it or you risk being permanently banned.
• Materials or content which promote hate, discrimination, or intolerance of any kind - Please, be respectful of all people regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, viewpoints, etc.
• Any material which violates copyright laws, or information which violates the rights or privacy of any 3rd party.
• Personal identity information of any party other than your business or your self. (home addresses and phone numbers which do not belong to you must never be shared, but we also caution you against sharing your own personal information on the Internet. It's a big world and there are a lot of strange people out there. Be careful!)
• "Work from home", "mlm", and other types of business opportunity ads which do not specifically state what you are selling are not allowed. If the end user must fill out a form, or pay money, or refer some friends, just to find out what the business opportunity is and what it is they'd be selling, then we do not allow it to be posted on our website.
• "Work from home", "mlm", and other types of online business opportunity ads which charge users a fee to join and/or which require the "business owner" to make a monthy purchases in order to receive their commission checks.
• We may modify this document to include new terms at any time. It is your responsibility to check this space and stay up to date with the rules.

Each classified ad includes: easy ad editor to help you make an attractive ad, 1 link to 1 website, a free counter to track your visitors, and a public profile page which you can use to describe your seller policies, your business, etc.

Duplicate ads will be deleted. Please do not spam us by posting identical ads in every state. Post a Nationwide Featured Ad instead. The web hosting and bandwidth for our website cost a lot of money, and the amount of resources we allow non-paying users to consume will understandably be limited.

As a condition of use, you promise not to use the Services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms of Use, or any other purpose not reasonably intended by 50 States Classifieds. By way of example, and not as a limitation, you agree not to use our Services:

1. to abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate or intimidate other users;
2. to contribute any Content that is infringing, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, offensive or otherwise violates any law or right of any third party;
3. for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. If you are an international user, you agree to comply with all US laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content;
4. to post or transmit, or cause to be posted or transmitted, any communication or solicitation designed or intended to obtain password, account, or private information from any user;
5. to create or submit unwanted email ("spam") to any other users or any URL;
6. to violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws);
7. to submit ads or comments linking to ponzi schemes, scams, or questionable content;
8. With the exception of search engines, you will not use any robot, spider, scraper or other automated means to access the Site for any purpose without our express written permission. Additionally, you agree that you will not: (i) take any action that imposes, or may impose in our sole discretion an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure; (ii) interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Site or any activities conducted on the Site; or (iii) bypass any measures we may use to prevent or restrict access to the Site;

We may remove any Content and accounts at any time for any reason (including, but not limited to, upon receipt of claims or allegations from third parties or authorities relating to such Content), or for no reason at all, without warning.

Because 50StatesClassifieds.com has no control over such sites and resources, you acknowledge and agree that 50StatesClassifieds.com is not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any Content, advertising, products or other materials on or available from such sites or resources. You further acknowledge and agree that 50StatesClassifieds.com shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such Content, goods or services available on or through any such site or resource.

50StatesClassifieds.com may terminate or suspend any and all Services and your 50StatesClassifieds.com account immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach any of the terms or conditions of the Terms of Use. Upon termination of your account, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your 50StatesClassifieds.com account, you may simply discontinue using the Services, or you may contact us to remove your account completely. All provisions of the Terms of Use which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

50 States Classifieds reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace the Terms of Use at any time. You shall be responsible for reviewing and becoming familiar with any such modifications. Use of our Services constitutes your acceptance of the Terms of Use.
