RAF 2000 Gyro Plane – project $17,900
I call this a “project” because it has been in storage for
11 years and some of the components have deteriorated and should be replaced
(hoses, belts, tires, etc.). I have purchased all of the upgraded components
from RAF in South Africa. I’ve also purchased “aircraft grade” hardware to
replace all the rusted or non-aircraft grade hardware, replacement control
cables, control cable jackets, new tires, etc. I am including the build
manuals, build log, build videos, other manuals, assorted tools (pressure gauge,
torque wrench, digital Vernier caliper, aircraft cable crimping tools, “Warp
Drive” protractor, dial gauge, and whatever else I can find). There was some
minor fiberglass work done on it and most of the fiberglass components have

I am now compiling a more detailed information list.
This gyro still needs some reconstruction however all of the
components are included.
Because this gyro is in the “Experimental” category, you can
do all of the work yourself. All repairs must be performed in accordance with
the manufacturers specifications and/or “Aircraft Inspection, Repair &
Alterations manual (AC 43.13-1B / AC 43-13-2B) included.
