Is a Banner ad the same as a classified
ad?
No, they are not the same thing. A classified ad is text based, and is posted for anywhere from 1-3 years in 1 state and 1 category. A banner ad is simply a graphic which you submit to us, and
we place it in random rotation with the other banner ads on the bottom of free ad pages. In allows for an extremely easy, fast, low-cost way to advertise on other peoples' free ads.
What is a 468x60 banner ad?
A jpg or gif file that is exactly 468 pixels wide by 60 pixels
high.
When a visitor clicks on your banner ad, they are taken to your
website.
Do you offer banner ads in sizes other
than 468x60?
Yes. we currently offer the following additional banner ad sizes:
120x90
banner ads, 125x125 banner ads, and 125x160 banner ads
Where will my banner ad be displayed?
On 50StatesClassifieds.com, click on any classified ad. There is a Pictures button with a picture of a camera on it. Click the Pictures button. Just below each
classified ad's picture, you will see a box
where the 468x60 ads are randomly rotated. If the user has not uploaded a picture with their ad, then your banner will be the only graphic in that area. In
addition, banners are randomly rotated on the front page.
If you purchase a 125x125 or 120x90 ad, then your banner ad will
be displayed on either the right or left side of the page, depending
on which type of page you are on. On ad pages, it's the right
side. On other pages, it can sometimes be on the left instead.
What if I don't have a banner ad ?
We can design you a banner ad in any size that you require! Just go to our banner
advertising purchase page to purchase custom banner ad graphic design services for any
size banner ad - 468x60, 125x125, 120x90, 125x60, or any other size you need. Even if we don't offer that size of banner advertising on our own website, we are still happy to design any size banner ad that you want, for the same low price we would charge to design a banner for one of our banner advertisers.
If I hire you to design my banner ad,
can I use it on other websites too?
Yes. You can use the banner we design for you on any website, as
long as they allow pictures of that size. A 468x60 pixel banner
ad is the standard size for banner ads on many websites. Other
websites offer different sizes depending on what works best with
their website layout. We can design any size banner that you need,
and it can be used on any website you wish. Just tell us how many
pixels high by how many pixels wide you need the graphic to be! |
