Plate number one "Scotty Gets His Tree" was painted in 1956, a six-year-old boy stood uncomfortably in a studio in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, in his heavy winter coat with a thick scarf. The axe on his shoulder grew heavy, but as the boy remembers it, he was happy. He was modeling for the famous Norman Rockwell, the first citizen of this town. Then in 1974, as members of the Rockwell Society Selection Committee searched through the works of Rockwell for the ideal choice for its first Christmas plate, they discovered this unpublished work. Its unity of concept, brilliant color, and triumphant grin captured their affection. It was chosen as the first official limited- edition Christmas plate "Scotty Gets His Tree".

Plate number 34 "Santa Eating Milk and Cookies" first appeared on the cover of Family Circle magazine in 1968, this portrait by artist Norman Rockwell captures the joy and warmth of the merriest holiday of all. Christmas is all about love, and in this delightful work of art, Santa enjoys a tasty helping of it along with a sweet message from one of his little fans. This collector plate is a Christmas treat and shows Santa joyfully eating his milk and cookies on a break from delivering presents to all good boys and Girls.
