"Light Campaign Series" is composed of six plates using art painted around 1920 by Norman Rockwell for the Edison Lamp Works where he would illustrate the impact of the new electric light, both as it illuminated the enduring strengths of the American family, and as it revealed new possibilities. The Light Campaign illustrations were historic; they were a vital part of the great campaign that sold modern electric light to America. Each plate was produced by Edwin Knowles china Company, and limited to 150 firing days, and is 8-1/2 inch in diameter. All plates are boxed with certificate of authenticity. "Evening's Ease" the fourth issue. Evening enfolds the dignified couple in its soft shadows, but it does not dim the light of their love. While the old gentleman reads aloud from a favorite book of verse, his wife pauses in her needlework, hearing, perhaps the echoes of another reading long ago. Their love has mellowed now; it has grown deep and rich. As this couple sit before the fire, they remind us that love can endure, and find its truest expression in the twilight of life.

" Close Harmony" the fifth issue. They gather around the piano, four friends sing with one voice. The feuds and frets of the day are forgotten; their whole world is a melody, as fresh and innocent as the sound of young voices rose in harmonious song.

"The Birthday Wish" the sixth issue. With the chorus of "Happy Birthday to You" still ringing in her ears, this adorable towhead proudly puffs out her cheeks to give the mightiest blow of her young life…and watches the candles on her home-backed cake flicker out.
