Oshkosh police have not received any reports of missing children, but they continue to investigate the case of a 12- to 14-year-old girl who was abducted from a north-side residential neighborhood Wednesday morning.

Police issued a statewide Amber Alert for the girl at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, but the alert expired early Wednesday evening. The department had not received any additional information about the girl, including her name.

Police say a black man and white man got out and forced the girl into the vehicle. Another black man was driving.

The girl is described as a skinny 5-foot black female. She was wearing a pink tank top and orange shorts, and had a shiny hair band.

A witness describes the vehicle as a boxy maroon four-door vehicle, with rust spots and a 2 in the license plate.

Oshkosh police ask anyone who might know the girl's name or who might have information to call them at (920) 236-5700.

OSHKOSH (WKOW) -- Oshkosh Police have issued an Amber Alert for a 14 year old girl that was reportedly snatched from a residential neighborhood.

According to the Amber Alert, the girl has not been identified, but is described as black, stands five feet tall and was wearing a pink tank top, orange shorts, and a gold headband when she was abducted.

Witnesses told police they saw two men pull the girl into their car on the 1100 block of Linwood Avenue around 10:30 a.m., which is near Oshkosh North High School.

The car is a maroon, older model, boxy four-door, rusted in sports with a hole in the bottom. The license plate had the number 2 in it.

A black man was driving the car. The passengers, a white man and another black men, got out and grabbed the girl, according to witnesses.

Anyone with information about the teen is asked to call Oshkosh Police at (920) 236-5700.
